this is probably an incredibly annoying topic, but please find a way to differentiate when someone is having connection issues vs leaving the match. i don’t think i should be punished for dodgy internet when i just want to play the game. additionally, i don’t think anyone should have to sit in a game and be tormented by survivors or killers just to avoid a penalty/timer for leaving. my internet is not the greatest, sometimes, and i’ve lost two whole survivor grades just trying to play the game and having connection issues.

    There is no way to differentiate. Only thing on server side they know is that someone lost connection. There is no way of knowing why and how so its penaltize in all situations except in the only one they know for fact what happened and that is server crash.

    You playing the game with bad internet is your risk its not behaviors responsibility if your interenet is bad. You disconnecting is causing harm to the other players in the match because either the match ends if you were the killer or survivors get a bot and have to play with that handicap.
