Feature Request: A Native Dead by Daylight Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2
Hi everyone, and hi to the Behaviour Interactive team!
I’m writing this to start a discussion about the possibility of a native Dead by Daylight version for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The original Switch port brought a lot of players into the Fog, but with the hardware limitations, we all know the sacrifices that had to be made. With the new console's capabilities, we finally have the hardware to support better frame rates, improved textures, and enhanced lighting. The psychological thriller and horror atmosphere of DbD relies heavily on these visual and audio cues, and experiencing it fully while playing handheld would be incredible.
Since Behaviour has done such a fantastic job implementing Cross-Progression, jumping onto a new, more powerful portable console would be seamless for veteran players.
I’d love to know if the dev team has this on their radar. To the community: would you buy a dedicated Switch 2 upgrade or port if it meant better performance on the go? Let’s show the team there is a real demand for this!
