why does behavior like to protect the most degenerate people
recently I've found myself in an argument with a mod trying to tell me that people who tell killers to kill themselves actually get banned. despite the fact this community is full of people who think its ok to tell killers this to the point its an actual stereotype of this community, and the fact there are people who have been doing this for years without being banned. not to mention streamers who have been doing for years. like for example quitekills a youtuber just exposed someone recently doing this for at least 2 years if not more now with nothing being done to them, and he's not the only youtuber whose proven this. the gaslighting from these mods is honestly ridiculous. like there practically telling us not to believe our eyes or ears, and to not look at the evidence saying otherwise.

Hot Take: If I were BHVR I just wouldn't ban people based off of this unless it was really needed. I mean genuinely though everybody thinks Dead By Daylight is extremely toxic. (Its like slightly more toxic than other games tbh) And so CCs start farming videos about how toxic the game is and how they stomped a sweaty 4 man SWF and how you can too. This then leads to more people watching DBD content as it is entertaining, entertaining content leads to more people playing the game.
People get banned for this. Just not all of them, because some of them are tricky bastards with their foul language.
Naming and shaming isn't allowed in any circumstance; we cannot permit players to share information showing others in a negative light due to harassment, privacy, and false flags. It's important we use the appropriate routes of reporting to avoid this type of behavior on the forums. You're always free to tell your stories; posting a player's profile and information is the part that isn't allowed.
