Did he? Resident Evil and FNaF are pretty tough to beat, with how many players those brought in.
im like 99% sure that all of the FNAF fans were kids who came not understanding how it works, just wanted to play Springtrap, of course we have the actual fan here and there
I feel like the first RE chapter was treated like a much bigger deal and was when the game was at it's most 'alive' in terms of how many people were playing and talking about the game.
While Jason was hyped there's still this sense of underwhelm due to it lacking the fanservice people were long expecting/hoping for (no Crystal Lake map, no survivor, the generic Jason Universe design, no movie cosmetics) so it doesn't feel like as big of a deal as it probably should have been.

If they ever make a Jason-themed Rift, I hope they include a livestream shack charm 😁

We have yet to have even a resident evil or fnaf themed rift. The one i found to be a suprise was the saw rift as they usualy add a licensed rift alongside a chapter, but saw's was much later.
