A Dead By Daylight content creator by the name of CocoCava created a video titled "I'm Offering the DBD Devs $1,000 to Prove Me Wrong" the goal of this video was for the devs to try something like the Helldivers challenge. (which went great) Essentially the rules go as such:

  1. The person playing must be a key decision maker of Dead By Daylights core balance. (No art team :c)
  2. The challenge is to get 10 straight wins in public matches, each win he donates $100 to an animal shelter.
  3. They will be required to play killers that are viewed as underpowered by the community, eligible killers are as follows: Trapper, Ghost Face, Skull Merchant, Demogorgon, Pig, Clown, Onryo, Hag, Doctor, or the Knight. Reasoning for these were that they are either weak, or extremely bugged at times.
  4. To ensure the matches are legitimate, they must either be streamed live or in a closed stream with a trusted member of the community that can vouch for the validity.
  5. They can attempt this multiple times allowing for maximum payout if they wanted.

I cannot wait for the dev team to not respond to it, or before they do somebody ruins it for everybody. cough cough (Helldivers 2 incident) Either way I thought this would be a fun and interesting challenge for the community to finally start liking the developers a bit more. Let me know what you think of the challenge and how it will go.

    i mean, this isnt going to happen, there is also no actual business sense to engage with this at all. they as a company smartly avoid getting themselves into the whole "killers are too weak" "killers are too op" conversation. they will allow everyone to rant and rave about how much the game sucks but they stay silent on it and while people dont like that, its smart and its probably a reason the games lasted the way it has.

    there are more potential cons than pros in this for behavior so they arent likely going to acknowledge it much less engage with it

    Yeahhhhhhh, they're never going to do this. The devs never upload gameplay of themselves let alone for some sort of challenge. It certainly would be fun, though.
