DBD has the worst matchmaking system of all time.

Title says it all. It's truly terrible. Mmr just doesn't work in this type of game especially when new players flood the game with chapters like Jason. Dbd needs a ranked and unranked mode, where ranked is based off of your rank/grade and unranked is mmr based.

Ik alot was wrong with dbd old matchmaking system when it went by player rank, but imo it was better than whatever we have right now.

Im also thinking of maybe matchmaking by player level and devotion. I think that could possibly work. The point is so many problems dbd has is because of there horrendous matchmaking system.

    First off Marvel Rivals exists which is a game with matchmaking so bad it made me quit it, which DBD's matchmaking has never done. Matchmaking so bad that the entire community is in a debate to this day with each other arguing about if it's designed to be as bad as it is to maximize engagement.

    Also the problem with a ranked mode for DBD is that nobody actually wants a ranked mode. They just want sweaty players out of their matches so that they can win easier. It'd go over about as well as Team Fortress 2's ranked mode.

    Not to mention in many cases where they complain of the killer sweating he was not even sweating just playing normally.
