Why has there been no noticable balance changes since Diminishing Returns?
Ever since diminishing returns and those breadcrumb ah killer changes you called "buffs" released its been dryer than the damn sahara desert. And it turns out Jason is not coming with any noticeable changes either. So if you dont care about Jason or his perks, this upcoming patch gives you NO REASON to play for killer playes, no perk changes, no killer tuneups, nothing. This meta has needed to be changed for so long and yet it seems like it never will, sure we get three new survivor perks but no survivor for some reason, i'm sure the novelty wont wear off in a day totally no sarcasm here.

BHVR plans things about a year out. Diminishing returns wasn't planned with any balance changes on its own and therefore we will likely have to wait about a year since Diminishing returns (end of this year) for BHVR to collect data and make adjustments.
I also wouldn't get your hopes up on it being large adjustments either.
Exactly. Diminishing returns in itself means that there is a limit of how much Perks can be buffed, because otherwise you end up at the old values, which were apparently too good. Hard caps would have been the way better solution, those would allow for strong individual Perks which could not be paired with other strong individual Perks.
The sad reality is that BHVR already has the data. They have years of matches where certain Perks are only used in combination with other Perks. And they have years of matched where they see that some Perks are not used on their own outside of Adepts. And yet we will have to wait a long time of new data, which will just show that the overall pickrate of those Perks have dropped.
