Hi everyone

I see many posts from players in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE who are rightfully complaining about playing on 120ms+ ping. I’m playing from Turkiye and while my ping is around 60-70ms to Frankfurt it will be a better experience for everyone including us

The community has been asking for years and BHVRs indirect answer to this being the infrastructure. Well. AWS officially launched the Istanbul Local Zone on April 28, 2026.

By enabling an Istanbul server, BHVR could solve two problems at once:

  1. Turkish players finally get sub-20ms ping.
  2. Players from the Middle East and the Balkans get a much closer routing point than Frankfurt, likely dropping their ping to manageable levels (40-60ms).

This looks like the perfect time to act before the next big chapter release
