Why can't killers swap characters in 2v8?

It just seems weird that Killers cannot swap their character at all, it's not MMR gaming, so it just seems like an unnecessary limit to impose on the free-for-all game mode.

    Do you mean while in the queue/in a lobby?

    I presume it's because killers cannot double up, so the queue has to lock in who you picked to avoid having two Nemmies in the same game, etc. Would be nice if it opened the option again after you get in a lobby now that the system knows the killer you are matched with.

    A shame it doesn't do the same thing for the killer class you pick, however. Game seems more than happy to boot you off what you wanted to play unfairly because it decided to match you with someone else that chose the same thing. I swear this is happening in half my games.

    No, obviously you cannot play the same character. I just mean having the choice to swap to another character that isn;t repeated.
