Request for 120FPS/120Hz Support on Current Gen Consoles & Advanced Controller Deadzone Settings

Hello Behaviour Interactive team,

I wanted to submit a feature request regarding console performance and controller customization for Dead by Daylight.

With the power of current-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, many competitive multiplayer titles now support 120FPS/120Hz modes. Adding an optional 120FPS performance mode for console players would greatly improve gameplay smoothness, input responsiveness, and overall experience — particularly in chase situations where tracking and reaction time are critical. Noticeable graphical sacrifices may need to be done in order to achieve a steady 120fps on current gen consoles but that's okay. The PS5 Pro in specific would benefit greatly from having a 120fps option due to it's higher performance capabilities.

In addition, I would like to request advanced controller settings, specifically:

  • Adjustable inner and outer deadzone sliders
  • Optional response curve settings (linear, dynamic, etc.)
  • More granular sensitivity control

Controller deadzone customization and 120fps would help improve accessibility and competitive fairness between PC and console players.

These changes would not only modernize the console experience but also demonstrate continued support for the growing console player base.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and for your continued work on Dead by Daylight.
