Something feels off about these androgynous angels. Could we have the first gender Non-Binary killer? Their appearance signals they exist beyond human categories - but both are missing legs, hinting they can’t fully maneuver without support.
One uses artificial, entity-like appendage; the other hovers via a vortex almost like propulsion systems (I know they look like vecna's vines - but we have tree like killer already) and has massive wings to steer, If the survivors are spiritual scientists, could the killer represent divinity reconstructed through machinery - a godlike being forced into physical form and artificially sustained? These angels may not be purely holy or mechanical, but manufactured divinity struggling to exist.
