Letting go is still a thing or bug?
So, i had this debate with one of my friends and things got heated. Letting go still works if youre getting hooked for a second time (wont work if youve been hooked 1 time and got stage 2). But my friend said its impossible because it doesnt work for him and its a bug. The patch notes 9.0.0 said it doesnt work anymore but also stating that they added sum like anti go next. The dilemma comes from the fact that letting go works but not from stage 1 to just go next like it was before. So if anyone knows better, please help me out here, is it intended or not?

From stage 1 you cant attempt to unhook yourself except with slippery meat or luck offerings or deliverance.
You cant ######### by ignoring 2 skillchecks from stage 2 anymore except when there’s only one other survivor left. If you miss skillchecks without this condition in stage 2, you will just speed up the process but can’t skip it.
So in short. If you are 1 of 2 people left and on hook, the old hook style applies. Even without offerings/perks you can blow your 3 attempts and then let 2 skill checks go to die so the 1 other person can get hatch faster. Otherwise if 3 or more survivors are left, go next prevention rules apply and requires offerings/perks to blow your 3 attempts, then miss allot more than 2 skill checks to slowly die.
