The Forgotten City (inspired by Chernobyl)
Theme / Atmosphere:
An abandoned, eerie city swallowed by nature. Inspired by Pripyat after the Chernobyl disaster – empty buildings, rusting ferris wheel, broken swimming pools, gas masks scattered across the ground. A perfect ghost town taken by the Entity.
Main Landmark (Map Center):
- A Ferris Wheel visible in the distance, partially collapsed.
- Survivors can see it from many points, helping with orientation.
Other Key Areas:
- Abandoned School – long hallways, broken desks, peeling walls.
- Empty Swimming Pool – cracked tiles, debris, echoing atmosphere.
- Apartment Block Courtyard – overgrown, with cars left behind in a hurry.
- Reactor Ruins (distorted by the Entity) – glowing in unnatural light, adding horror effect.
Gameplay Notes:
- Tall buildings provide vertical silhouettes but remain closed inside (for performance and fairness).
- Generators scattered between urban and industrial zones.
- Many line-of-sight blockers: trees, walls, broken vehicles.
Lore Idea:
The Entity took a fragment of an abandoned Soviet town and twisted it into a nightmare. Survivors don’t just face the killer – they feel the haunting silence of a world that ended overnight.
