Why was the Generator Repair Speed Red instead of Yellow?

I was playing Survivor earlier using Deja Vu and Prove Thyself.

I worked on a Deja Vu highlighted Generator with my teammate, who also had Deja Vu and, as a result of working with me, was affected by my Prove Thyself.

My understanding is we suffer a 15% speed reduction individually for co-op on a generator, thus the red repair bar

However, shouldn't our generator repair have been yellow?

    That's because they aren't additive bonuses, but multiplicative, and independent for each person.

    So your personal modifiers are:

    • One 15% reduction penalty for grouping (0.85x multiplier)
    • One 10% buff for prove (1.1x)
    • One 6% buff for deja Vu (1.06x)

    And since the base is 1 charge per second:

    1 * .85 * 1.1 * 1.06 = 0.9911 total.

    So since you're not above the 1 charge per second it shows a red bar. Your friend will have the same bonuses with the same buffs, so you're doing almost, but not quite, 2 charges per second on the gen together.
