About the Killer's 10-Minute Forfeit System and The shape "Scratched Mirror" Add-on Mechanics

I would like to raise an issue regarding the system that allows killers to force a match to end if no generators have been repaired within the first 10 minutes of the trial.

Yesterday, while playing Survivor solo, I went up against a Michael Myers who brought the Scratched Mirror add-on and had specifically chosen the Treatment Theatre of the Léry's Memorial Institute. He was also running the "Sloppy Butcher" perk.

Despite one teammate being sacrificed, we managed to repair generators until only one remained. Of the three remaining generators, one was already 80% complete but unreachable due to being blocked. At that point, Michael activated the forfeit system.

As you may know, the match result counted as a sacrifice (a loss) for the survivors, but honestly, this should have been a win for our side. We put up with the killer’s strategy for 35 minutes, and this outcome is completely unacceptable.

More than anything, the indoor Scratched Mirror build just serves to drag out the length of the trial. In a party, you can discuss and choose to move on to the next match, but solo players don’t have that option.

I believe this add-on should be reworked entirely, as it is currently being exploited under the 10-minute forfeit system. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this issue.

  • The system is intended to work in a way where this situation results in a loss FOR KILLER.

Apparently, it just shows the wrong state, but it should show that you escaped.
