How did I help ban someone without reporting it?

I am so confused, logged on today and well said thanks for my help in getting someone banned from the game? Uhm I am not much on dbd lately and or pushed the button on screen as I was mad or upset etc so I dunno?

    Maybe a very old report finally was acting on? They do tend to ban in waves.
