DBD displaying black screen after viewing mori

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: DBD showed a blank screen after viewing a Mori and showing a crash dialog when ALT+F4ing

PLATFORM: PC/Steam

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

1. Select Killer from main menu
2. Select the Ghoul(which I dont own)
3. Select view Mori
4. let Mori play out to the end
5. Game should return to character selection, however it only shows a blank screen with the 5th strike of the DBD logo in the bottom right corner and Kaneki breathing
6. Alt+F4 the game, dialog displays as expected
7. game closes and crash dialog displays
