How do you surrender?
I just played a match where i was the last survivor that wasn't a bot. Patch notes say that if you're last survivor that isn't a bot or all survivors are slugged the surrender option is available. But i couldn't find it. i hit escape and looked at the match details, check accessibility tab, and mulled over my hud. Maybe im blind, but i never found the option. So how do you do it?

no idea if you missed it or it didn’t trigger but when the option came up for me it was small at the top right hand corner of the screen that just appeared, no need to go into menu or anything. I didn’t push it because it’s not an appealing feature for me personally. If it’s chill it’s chill, and if it gets more challenging and they don’t let up I can take out my earrings.

Also when you do get the option. The tab you click on to leave the match changes. Can't remember exactly think it usually says abandon, but when it's allowed it changes to surrender with a confirmation of what's gonna happen. So you don't exactly eat the penalty.
