Making the XENOMORPH the Ultimate Weapon. (Opinion on 8.6.0 PTB)
The Xenomorph is going to receive minor changes in the next update.
Apparently, it has the lowest kill rate among all killers in the stats.
I would like to suggest solutions and ideas to both the developers and the players.
Let's take Dracula as an example. He has multiple abilities : transforming into a bat (allowing teleportation) ; turning into a wolf ; breathing fire… He is complete in every aspect !
The Xenomorph should be a true threat ! The Ultimate Weapon.
I am proposing a solution that should increase its power, enhance its element of surprise, and add more variety to its gameplay.
Here are the two key points:
• Maintain the strength of the turrets.
• Add another ability in crawler mode.
NEW ABILITY :
⮕ The Xenomorph can climb walls at 50% or 75% of normal speed (only in crawler mode).
⮕ It can only use its tail attack from the wall.
This improvement will make it an omnipresent threat, increasing its strength on many maps. It will also add tension and fear ; allowing for more synergy between abilities to catch survivors off guard.
I truly believe this is the best and most faithful solution to the creature !
It should remain weak against turrets… but highly threatening in crawler mode. The ability to climb walls would also help balance the power of its tail attack. The changes introduced in the PTB are already moving in this direction.
I hope this idea takes shape in the future, as it would make the Xenomorph more enjoyable to play and to face as a survivor. You could consider this major improvement when implementing it in 2v8 mode ?!
Thank You for your feedback ! 🙂

So… a power that would struggle to see proper use on many outdoor maps but on indoor maps could be weaponized to entirely circumvent pallets?
I fail to see how it would make them more enjoyable to face as a survivor at all, given turrets already suffer uninteractivity issues and giving xeno the ability to ignore central gameplay loops would be a pain.
That sounds as a massive nerf and would most likely become more buggy than Huntmaster.
