Suggestions for the Survivor Surrender option
Don't require a unanimous vote (still require all Survivors to be in any of the Dying, Hooked, Carried, Sacrificed, Killed states) and have it sacrifice the Forfeiting player via the Entity's EGC sacrifice.
- Including the Carried state prevents possible Pickup juggling abuse
- Including the Hooked state sits in line with all 4 Survivors being sacrificed if all unanimously Hooked.
- This still requires the entire team to be in what is being considered a "loss" state
- Doesn't allow for spiteful Survivor holdouts to hold other Survivors back in non-unanimous votes
- Provides a greater sense of individual agency
- Possibly allows good natured interaction between the sides by allowing oneself to be the final Mori
- Possibly allows individual spitefulness against the Killer if you want to be a holdout.
Have a delay before it shows up as an option, but once shown as an option this delay will no longer occur
- A timer before the option is made available to allow the Killer some time to potentially start Hooking if so desired to acquire Bloodpoints
- Possibly allows Survivors with pickup perks to leverage them without others immediately giving up
- Prevents the survivors from immediately forfeiting if one was left slugged to prevent Hatch.
- Making the timer one-time-only can help prevent Pickup juggling abuse.
Include a Bloodpoint event
- So the Killer doesn't miss out on too many BP's in the event that this scenario was more happenstance than deliberate (EG: Bubba)
- By including the Hooked state into the criteria this may impact certain normal gameplay scenarios.
- Deliberate slug-outs would be addressed moreso by the Phase 2 feature.
