Anyone else getting really high ping in 2v8?

I live in the same city as the servers in my region (OCE) and on a typical day I get 15ms ping and have had as low as 8ms. But in this mode I am continually getting 200ms ping for some reason, anyone else having this issue?

    I remember someone saying during previous special events that BHVR uses different servers for special events than they do for normal 1v4 mode. They must put the event mode on their extra crappy servers.

    Hmm I see, well my ping was often double the last time we had 2v8 but obviously this is way beyond that. Super annoying
