Ghostface Power Addendum Idea
A common gripe that I see about Ghostface is that his power is so easily cancelled. The obvious fix to this would be to rework the system of reveal mechanics but frankly that's a lost cause of an endless rabbit hole of network desync, netcode, and expensive serversided view space calculations that I don't think it optimizable to a point of perfection- things will always either be favored in either the survivor's favor or the killers.
Ghostface is already a strong killer who doesn't need to benefit from more power clunk that makes him impossible to reveal and furthermore, this doesn't solve the integral issue of a 25 second power cooldown where you're an M1 killer with a funny meme tbag power.
I think the best option is a simple idea to increase the macro and micro play of his power with a quick addendum mechanic, similar to the legion's movement speed/4th hit frenzy buff a while back that made them much more fun to paly while only effecting their power level by a marginal amount.
Vengence
After a survivor reveals Ghostface, that survivor is marked with Vengeance (consider a couple of entity tendrils crowning the survivor portrait) and lasts until the Ghostface reactivates nightshroud or some time passes. When the Ghostface hits a survivor marked with Vengence, the Ghostface's power is immediately refunded.
That's it.
In all honesty, a mechanic like this solves a lot of integral systems Ghostface suffers from. First, there will always be a notion that your power is doing something; you don't have 25 seconds of downtime, you have 25 seconds to redeem your power before it naturally regenerates- which I know sounds stupid on paper but can seriously make a difference in the mindset of players.
It also disincentives chasing after the survivor with 99% mark for 25 seconds after getting revealed to which there's nothing either party can do besides move to a strong tile and wait, and should the 99% marked survivor be the one to reveal, the Ghostface has the dilemma to either hit the survivor and loose all mark progress or wait out the long cooldown like before.
Lastly, it of course incentives spreading the love across multiple survivors and allows coordinated groups to spread Ghostface watching adding a small layer of strategy for survivors (small layer because its always still preferable to reveal Ghostface than to leave him be, which is a good thing).
It also fits thematically into a self aggrandizing murderer who hates being shown up, which is probably the weakest argument but still there.
To reiterate, the point of this isn't to make Ghostface a stronger killer; he's already popular and decently powerful, its just a convenient QOL that would make him that much more satisfying to play, which is important because of the large number of people that play him would benefit from this change.
