tunneling and slugging at 5 gens on quick play

Why do killers tunnel, slug and proxy camp at 5 gens in quick play??? Not even ranked, but quick play? What's the mentality behind this?

  • Well, first things first is there is no 'quick play' or 'ranked' queue. There's only 'play'.

So unfortunately, if you want to play casually, the other team may just decide to sweat that match and it's probably going to be rough. This problem is not solved by splitting up the queues either, it would just make queue times longer.

oh yea true, im used to other games having a separate queue. but I play killer more than surv, and try to keep the game running for fun and points, and only play sweaty if im getting my ass kicked. Ending the game asap just seems boring and pointless

  • Why do cheaters cheat? It's the same answer to your question: They want to win at all costs, period.

Some players (generally) would still enjoy it if all survivors started the match crawling on the ground.
Victory counts, however they achieve it.
