BHVR's reasoning for justifying the Deadlock nerf is false
"Deadlock is quite effective while being rather easy to activate. We have slightly reduced the duration of the generator blocker to bring it in line with other options."
This is completely false because the average duration time that generator block perks are 30-40 seconds and they're making Deadlock 25 seconds when you have DMS with up to 30 seconds, Undone with up to like 30 seconds, Grim Embrace up to 40 seconds, Corrupt Intervention up to 90 seconds, etc. This means that 25 seconds is NOT "in line with other options" by getting nerfed.
While, yes, it is easy to activate then you have to try explaining that with all of the other options with the fact that they're all EQUALLY as easy to activate with DMS requiring you to just simply hook a survivor on any hook to activate, Undone requiring you to just simply kick a gen(very hard to activate BHVR, very hard), Grim Embrace just simply requiring the SAME THING as DMS just with the extra step of leaving the hook to activate fully, and Corrupt Intervention just requiring the killer to spawn in(again, VERY hard to do BHVR).
Just undo this nerf because your reasoning is COMPLETELY false for justifying this nerf and hardly anyone complains about Deadlock meaning that you essentially nerfed it just because you felt like it.

That is factually true but it's good that way.
Old ds was an offensive tool rather than a defensive, which is the idea behind the perks current design. I'd rather not go back to these times.
To my distaste, I already encountered people over the last few weeks that used otr + ds + dh extremely offencive.
Not fun at all.
Both sides get smacked in terms of perks from time to time. Could we stop with this tribalism?
I don't get this mindset. Buckle Up + For the People and Background Player are literally getting nerfed this patch as well, and there are enough other survivor perks that have gotten nerfs in the past too.
DS is also not a busted perk, it's a necessary evil because of how strong tunneling and camping are, and the nerf to 4 seconds is already pretty stupid if you ask me.
At first I thought his main gripe was the fact that they nerfed it for the wrong reasons, but still deserved a nerf. But asking them to undo the most minimal and mundane nerf to a meta perk in history is just absurd.
I think the only fair response to tunneling is to give a repair speed to the remaining survivors when one is dead
like a 3% speed bonus of repairing multiplied by the amount of gens left
1 survivor dead at 5 gens = the remaining 3 survivors repair gens with a 15% bonus
Usually, if the killer doesn't tunnel, a survivor is dead with 1 or 2 gens left
So these survivors would be repairing the last 1 or 2 gens with a 3%/6% speed, which in my opinion is not that much considering the killer has the edge in chasing and keeping survivors away from the gens
BHVR are nerfing DS down to 4 seconds so idk what this complaint is about it not being looked at.
