Dresden Files Killer, Map and Survivor.
It's a really popular series, and I think it could have some potential in DBD.
There are a lot of options, but I would lean towards a skin walker killer, Harry Dresden as a survivor, and maybe the cannery on Demon's Reach for the map. There are a lot of options. My second favorite would be a Lupe Guru killer with Karen Murphy as a survivor, and John Marcone's estate from Fool Moon as a map.
Karen Murphy would make a lot of sense as she is just a normal person who deals with a lot of dangerous things. A lot of her perks would be best as skill based.
Maybe a young Harry Dresden survivor, a He Who Walks Behind killer, at the gas station where they first clashed as a map? If He Who Walks Behind is the killer, he could have a summoning ability like the knight and summon cornerhounds. Or it could be a passive thing, and they just pounce at survivors from corners. Anticamping mechanic?
