We need an Event Horizon Chapter (spoilers ahead)
I honestly think that Event Horizon would be a perfect fit for a DBD Chapter. There's so much potential for adaptation there, and you could really dive deep into the Psychological Horror it provides.
The killer would obviously be Dr. Weir:
His power should feature a lot of hallucinations and trickery, to recreate the feeling of everyone losing their minds on the ship. You could also feature his superhuman strength that he was granted after seeing through The Gateway.
An alternate skin for him should be after he was brought back by the ship.
The Survivor should be Captain Miller:
He'd be a fearless and altruistic Survivor, as he stops at nothing to save his crew. His perks could center around protecting others, even at his own cost.
The map would be, well, the Event Horizon:
It'd be an "indoor" map, set in space itself, around the orbit of Neptune. Some alterations would probably need to be made to the layout to make it a good DBD map, though. All I ask is that the Gravity Drive is on the map, and spinning. You could even have the Drive open up and reveal The Gateway when the exit gates are powered.
Make it happen, BHVR. It would be so cool.
