I had 2 killer concepts, just looking for any thoughts people might have
Hi everyone, I had 2 ideas for cool killers, the banshee and the reaper, was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on them.
The Reaper killer concept
Nothing in this world is as certain as death, the reaper brings this to reality, a medieval necromancer performed strange experiments in his lifetime attempting to control death itself, from strange rituals to kidnap and torture all with the end goal of living forever, one fateful day the necromancer took prisoner a young girl, he dissected her to try and take away her youth and give it to himself, he called out to the dark gods to be granted eternal life for sacrificing a soul so pure, the soul of the girl he had taken, the daughter of the king, fraught with worry the king had sent out witch hunters to save her and kill the necromancer, they found him in a destroyed shack in the swamp, standing over the dead body of the kings daughter, her blood used as paint to draw strange runes and markings, the hunters killed the necromancer but with his last breath he cursed the hunters family’s so that they would never know peace until he was avenged, the entity responded and gave him power he could have only dreamed of, he rose up now hollow, an empty set of black robes and grabbed a scythe from a rack near him, he cut the souls out of the hunters bodies and stored them in a lantern, since then he has travelled across the world adding more souls to his collection on behalf of the entity.
Power
Soul separation: can only be used after a survivor has received a damage state, the reaper reaches forward with his lantern and starts slowly drawing a survivors soul into it causing the survivor to eventually fall to the ground, when a soul is captured it must be taken to a hook and hooked as you would normally hook a survivor, when unhooked a survivor must return the souls to the body and perform a quick ritual to restore it, fully restoring the soul heals a survivor fully but quickly depositing it will return the survivor to the injured state as unhooking usually would.
The Banshee
Clíodhna the banshee was a beautiful woman before her death, her hair was long and dark and her eyes were emerald green, she was in love with a hunter and she would have done anything for him, one day as she returned home early from a walk in the forest she noticed her husband was home, this was unusual because he had told her he was working until later that evening, she was happy that her love was home early but as she entered the house she heard a strange sound and went to investigate, she traveled upstairs to the bedroom and found her husband deep in the throws of passion with another woman, this broke Clíodhnas heart and she rushed out of the house on floods of tears screaming and wailing back into the forest where she met the entity, he promised her revenge and power so that she could prevent any other women from feeling her pain. She returned home to find her husband and his lover waiting for her, in a fit of rage she screamed, took one of his rifles off the wall and killed them both, overcome with anger and grief after killing the man she loved she turned the rifle on herself and took her own life, the entity wasn’t yet finished with her, he resurrected her but as a shadow of her former self, a husk filled with loneliness range and sorrow. With a special hatred for men she wonders the forest where she first met the entity, screaming and crying.
When wondering through the forest take care, they say if you hear the call of the banshee.

Power
Call of the banshee, clíodhna let’s out a terrifying scream that causes survivors to cry out in terror revealing their aura for a few seconds, if a survivor is directly in front of her when she screams the survivor becomes haunted and deafened, this effect means they cannot hear the killers heart beat or see the red stain they also can’t see fellow survivors aura until they take a second to clear their head. If a survivor is haunted then periodically they cry out revealing their aura again,
If the banshee screams directly at a survivor who is already haunted then this lowers the survivors sanity causing them to hallucinate, they will see shadows and their screen will become distorted.
Status effect haunted
those who are haunted by the banshee see shadows and false auras of survivors and the deafen they receive from being screamed at fills the survivors ears with a loud ringing sound
