Reworked Killers Are Being Forgotten By The Devs
I think one of the biggest issues right now is that we ARE getting the reworks that we wanted and asked for, and they ARE making changes to them, which is great.
However as the next update chain rolls along, despite their being TONS of leftover feedback for final tweaks on that character, they simply move on and forget they exist. Leaving killers in what feels like an unrefined state.
Example 1. Trickster
A lot of people are still unhappy with trickster and a community manager even talked about doing some more tweaks/a list of changes they were looking into, but instead they gave him a few band aid patches and moved on.
Next I fear is Example 2.
Onryo. While she does feel a lot better now with 7.5.1, there are still mainly 3 things people are asking for with changes to (Survivors not seeing TV auras, 2 second tape insertion again, and Passive Condem so people can't just hold onto tapes next to target TV). (And Improvements/Buffs to her weak/useless add ons).
With a new PTB coming on the 20th, if there is no update/patch this coming week, or maybe even the Monday before the PTB, Onryo will most likely become another Forgotten Rework. We have one week left for a chance to help fix her, but based on what happened to Trickster, I am not sure what to expect.
Example 3. Billy
They did a good job and is very loved, so not much to say except people wanting some add ons down tuned.
My main point is to the developers. Please please take some time to refine these killers that have been reworked and tweaked. They still could use some love, and as it is looking right now, I feel killers like Trickster/Onryo wont receive any for the next 2 years or so.
Perhaps this coming Tuesday I final patch would help fix this all up, but when that PTB comes, expect nothing after that.
