So I think most people already noticed that the text for The Thompsons' Mix and Greased Throttle have been changed although their effects in-game are still the same, devs haven't said anything but we assume the effects are changing in the next patch.

So, now, those add-ons won't work in Overdrive. I think that's an okay change, Billy was nerfed back then for having similar add-ons that were way too busted when paired with charge speed add-ons.

But, since we now have those add-ons that only work while not in Overdrive, why not make similar add-ons that work only in Overdrive?

Currently, Billy has 4 add-ons that are close to useless: High-Speed Idler Screw, Discarded Air Filter, Ragged Engine and Thermal Casing. My suggestion is to take 2 of those add-ons and change the effects for the following:

  • Decreases recovery time after using the Chainsaw while in Overdrive by 9%
  • Decreases recovery time after using the Chainsaw while in Overdrive by 6%

I don't think those add-ons could have the same numbers as the other two since the Overdrive mode already gives you quicker recovery, but it would still be nice to have those add-ons as options.
