Can the LAG/FPS drops be fixed in the DBD Store?

I'm on PS5, I know it's not just me since everyone else I know complains about it too (and on ps4). It can freeze for 5 seconds for a simple skin to load. This feels horrible to navigate and ruins the immersion. Is there any ETA for a QoL update?
