New ways to interact for survivors only (so far)

With in game voice chat no where in sight maybe it's time to expand the game in a completely different way. That's right, a complete update version of the emotes we have currently. We have head nodding, the "come here/follow me" emote and the "over there" emote.

If anyone is worried about not being able to hit survivors because of the hitboxes, lets be real here, the hitbox for a survivor is massive and I doubt that will be changing anytime soon, if ever.

The base buttons on controller would stay the same except holding the "up" button on the D-pad would bring up a wheel to choose an emote, a bit like fortnite, except not overly complicated.

So how about the following examples as a potential set of emote ideas;

  • A Dance emote, it would be funny as hell watching a survivor dance while being chased by the killer
  • Whistling, A killer can hear this but he can't pinpoint the survivor unless he is lunging distance, this would be really good for a survivor who is trying to get the attention of another survivor running away who he is trying to heal
  • A clap emote, cause why not? lol
  • An emote that throws equipped items, damaging them, reducing their durability/charges in the process and giving the killer a notification. This would be in the settings and can be turned off manually by the killer since I can see how this could easily be a problem by toxic players.

Nothing is final of course but I do hope to see some type of changes when it comes to emotes as it could help make the game much more enjoyable in general.
