Temp matchmaking ban for a server issue?

During a match with Hag today, I got kicked from a match saying I got a dedicated server error. I didn't get any points or bloodppoints while every survivor got several thousand since I had used a bloody party streamer and to top it off, I got a 15 minute ban from playing. Why did I get banned for something I couldn't control like that or even get my bloodpoints??

    Their DC penalty system does not (or cannot) differentiate between connection issues or manual disconnects, and treats them all the same.

    There certainly has been an unusual amount of posts here and elsewhere about the issues you are describing sadly.
