Does opening the gate yourself as Killer affect matchmaking rating?

I get stomped by survivors. I open the gates to get into the next match quicker. Then I get stomped again. Doesn't seem to end.

Is my rating not dropping because I am opening the gates??

    We happen to know that only kills and escapes count, not their circumstances. The exception being hatch escapes, as that one counts as a neutral outcome.

    As the above said, but funnily enough, we're still under the impression that if the survivors die to EGC because you opened the door and they stayed, your rating rises
