Sadako changes are both unintuitive and counterproductive.

New players will be completely demolished by the global Condemn with no feedback or hints what you should do to avoid it. Finding a TV that hasn't been turned off by a projection or another survivor is also overly difficult on some maps unless you already have perilously high stacks, at which point it might be too late.

When you get to the point (4-5+ stacks) with condemn where you should playback a tape, you further expose yourself to the risk of being instantly dead to condemn, because you need to interact with two separate TVs that the Onryo will most likely frequent. It's comparable to if the pig could run around kicking jigsaw boxes to reduce 10 seconds off every trap timer.

Thus the remaining counterplay for skilled players is to find a TV 30 seconds after the match start, and keep a hold of that tape. But this way none of the survivors can use their items and leads to silly gameplay like jumping into lockers rather than being hit to avoid 2 condemn stacks. And of course, new players have no way of figuring that out through in-game tips, solidifying Sadako as the new noobstomper.
