Math behind made for this and potential conclusions
- Base survivor movement speed 4.00 m/s
- Survivor movement speed with made for this 4.03 m/s
- Survivor movement speed while proccing exhaustion perk such as lithe 10 m/s for 3 seconds then back to 4.00 m/s
According to my calculations if we set the distance survivor loops equal with lithe and with made for this it requires 16.7 minutes to loop with made for this while injured to gain the same distance as lithe
However, the potential issue with made for this is that it has no cooldown, lithe can be countered by bad rng and killer preventing you from using it. Another issue with made for this is its ability to loop much safer in multiple pallets as it gives you haste and basically buys you more time. Here, we can argue that made for this is exceptionally well and generally performs better than lithe in hands of a skilled player. However, made for this is much weaker compared to lithe vs killers like blight, nurse, spirit as they have the potential to catch up to you quickly.
Thought many feel like this perk should be nerfed its drawback is that it can not be used while exhausted, so instead of nerfing it, i think it would be better to buff perks that grant exhaustion to survivors and include multiple addons that grant exhaustion. For the same reason, the old dead hard would need no nerfs if there were a perk that gives survivors exhaustion on m1 basic attack. Think about it, killer uses m1 attack and grants exhaustion preventing survivors to use dead hard and made for this.
One could argue that this perk would be too strong, but it does not directly counter lithe, sprint burst and balanced landing as you can procc them without getting injured. So instead of constantly rebalancing and nerfing multiple perks i suggest we just provide players with counterplay options. Corrupt is strong? Fine, rework cheryl's perk 'repressed allience' to remove blockage from generators. Scourge hook is strong? Fine, adjust Jeff's perk breakdown that breaks scourge hooks for 5 minutes instead of basic 3. You get the idea
Also i think what made for this clearly shows is that killers lack some perks that can significantly alter their chase times. Either buff the killers or give the perks they require (coup de grac buff for instance is amazing)

A survivor with Made for This will run at 4.12 m/s *
Combine that with Hope, and you have a survivor who can run at 4.4 m/s (or 110%)
Then you have perks like Guardian, when being rescued by someone running this perk, you have a temporary speed boost of 117% (with the other two perks)
Or with the teamwork combo of Blood Pact and Teamwork: Power of Two, you can at maximum get a total haste of 4.76 m/s (119%) - Combined with Hope that is. That is faster than all M1 killers in the game. And oh boy, if you both have blighted (refined) serums, you can actually get all the way up to 4.96 m/s (124%) with this set of perks. Add a Made for This, to have when injured, you can get all the way up to 5.08 m/s (127%), which is almost as fast as a fully stacked Play With Your Food on a 115% killer.
It is only theoretical. I have never seen someone do this in a real match before, but the numbers don't lie, so it is indeed possible
If you co-ordinate well with someone and run these specific perks, you are guaranteed to loop the killer forever, unless it is a billy, oni, wesker or nurse
