Add the effect of banning attacks and casting skills and also slowing to forbidden camping
Although the game currently has the "Borrow Time" effect, the number of killers with camping gameplay is still very high, causing frustration in the game. These killers will probably prioritize survivor who saves hanging teammates, as a result saving teammates will often exchange lives. And so from one person to another, the killer can still camp as usual.
Especially in the situation of camping in the basement area, it takes too much distance to move, leading to a much higher rate of camping killer in such a situation of force majeure.
Suggested changes:
1. Remove [Borrow Time] effect after saving an ally
2. Add special effect [Punishment]:
After the killer hangs a survivor, the [Punishment] effect will begin to count. (This effect will display directly on the right side of the screen like other effects to remind killer)
If the killer stands within 36m from the hook hanging the survivor, the counter will continuously run. The counter will be full after 15 seconds.
After the counter is full, the killer will be affected by the [Punishment] debuff indefinitely within that 36m hook range. All adverse effects that the killer suffers include:
- Killer will have his movement speed halved. I hope the killer won't be able to continuously approach the injured survivor in a state where he can't attack and after the effect ends, the killer will perform the finishing blow. The slow is for this purpose.
- Killer cannot basic attack nor cast skills.
After the killer is successfully subjected to the [Punishment] effect, the [Punishment] effect will be displayed directly to all Survivors, along with a countdown to the end of the effect (none countdown if the killer is subjected indefinitely)
Dissolve the effect: After the killer leaves the range, the [Punishment] effect will disappear immediately upon leaving range, but the counter does not (i.e. only when the counter is full does the effect trigger). The counter will count down and disappear with a 2x degradation rate, not disappearing immediately to avoid the killer exploiting at the edge of the range.
After the survivor saves the hanging survivor, this effect continues for another 10 seconds. Similar to the "Borrow Time" effect, it allows the wounded to run an extra distance, such as escaping from a tunnel.
(Counter will show launch backwards for 10 seconds for both killers and survivors)
Note: The additional 10-second delay effect does not apply when the killer has no [Punishment] effect.
------
To prevent Survivors from taking advantage of this feature to entice killer within the hook range, the effect counter will be canceled completely immediately when the Killer is chasing a survivor for 10 seconds.
If no longer chasing a survivor, the counter will start counting from the beginning.
The fixed chase time is also intended to prevent Killer from accidentally glancing at Survivor to remove the counter immediately.
Save your teammates quickly before the killer negates the effect~ (meaning you can't bully killer in range)
Note: if you see the camping killer just hanging, don't rush to save your teammates and don't let the killer chase you, but to apply the [Punishment] effect to the camping killer first.
---
Other influencing factor:
If you are being chased from afar and despite saving your teammates, since this change has no Borrow Time effect, both can take damage.
(But the nature of the "Borrow Time" effect is also intended to limit camping, not to cover up an additional killer attack by a saved teammate's body).
