How to improve the anniversary event experience next year
I think for next year, the Terrormisu equivalents should only provide the bonus bloodpoints and anniversary abilities (insta-breaking pallets and blocking windows) to the folks who brought them into the match. It has been so demoralizing and unfun to have lobbies with folks bringing random offerings and hoarding all of their terrormisus.
If somebody wants to be a party pooper and bring a map offering, or an oak offering or whatever... sure. Let them. Go nuts. But those same people shouldn't be able to freeload on the backs of people who actually brought the BP offerings into the match. It just feels like there's been a ton of folks the past few days who haven't brought them, and it dulls the fun of the anniversary event for me.
Make next year's anniversary event pay-to-play, so to speak. And the cost of entry is whatever fun pastry-themed thing it is for year eight. After the anniversary event, the BP offerings can revert to glorified bloody party streamers.
Edit to add: You could also make BPS and past year's anniversary offerings allow people to participate in the event.
