Reputation System - can it improve the situation?

since the community shows itself from the best side again at this event, i would like to take up the discussion about a reputation system again.

in my opinion, such a system can only work with hard facts, which are automatically taken from the game. as an example, let me name the following facts that can be taken directly from the game.

Survivor from the last 100 games:

  • Disconnects
  • average people died on hook while survivor was still alive
  • average generators completed while survivor was still alive
  • average heals
  • average unhooks
  • average killer stuns
  • average killer blinds
  • t-bags while the killer was in range
  • unhook spam

killer from the last 100 games:

  • disconnects
  • average kills
  • average hooks
  • people slapped on hook
  • bleedouts
  • average gen completed
  • hatch closed
  • average downed survivors at the same time

would collecting and showing these things in the lobby (survivor and killer) improve the behavior of the people?

Comments

  • Can I get a unique Kebab Icon if I slap enough Survivors on Hook? Maybe a Bloody Mess Icon for multi-bleed outs, perhaps a "Bloodletter" title.

Sounds like fun things to chase. Not sure what it has to deal with a reputation system though when you're talking about stat-tracking.

On a more serious note: You're giving people a reward for doing those actions if they like doing it in the first place, and shaming people who already feel shame about it. And are otherwise promoting lobby-dodging and out-of-game harassment. Assuming you're making this mandatory to display.

  • Im gonna keep slapping people on hook to stop the scream until bHVR turns that high pitch stuff down.

    My Ears, Jesus help me.
