The 482nd Nemesis Add-On Pass Concept

I'm not even going to bother you with some paragraph about how his add-ons are troubling. I'll just get to it.

Unchanged Add-Ons

  • Damaged Syringe
  • Marvin's Blood

Visitor Wristband

  • Increases the detection range of Zombies by 5 meters and their field of view by 25 degrees.

S.T.A.R.S. Field Combat Manual

  • Survivors hit by Zombies are affected by Killer Instinct for 5 seconds.

Brian's Intestine

  • Increases Zombie movement speed while chasing Survivors by 1m/s.

Zombie Heart

  • Increases mutation rate gained when destroying Zombies with Tentacle Strike by 100%.

Mikhail's Eye

  • Increases Zombie movement speed while roaming by 1m/s.

Adrenaline Injector

  • Reduces the successful attack cooldown of Tentacle Strike by 20%.

Admin Wristband

  • Reduces the delay between charging and attacking with Tentacle Strike by 20%.

Tyrant Gore

  • When a Zombie is destroyed by Tentacle Strike, it will respawn at a hook close to a Survivor.

T-Virus Sample

  • Breaking a pallet with Tentacle Strike will cause contaminated Survivors within 32 meters of your location to scream, and reveals their aura for 4 seconds.

Serotonin Injector

  • When a Zombie is destroyed by any means, you gain the Undetectable status effect for 20 seconds and the noise of your footsteps are suppressed by 100%.

Plant 43 Vines

  • When a Survivor is injured by Tentacle Strike, any item they are carrying is dropped and transported to a Supply Case, if currently empty. That Supply Case's aura is revealed to the Survivor.

Licker Tongue

  • Upon reaching Mutation II, Tentacle Strike is given the ability to damage Generators.

NE-a Parasite

  • When a Survivor is Contaminated by any means, they suffer from the Oblivious status effect for 60 seconds.
  • When a Survivor is Vaccinated by any means, they suffer from Exhaustion for 30 seconds.

Jill's Sandwich

  • When Contaminating a Survivor with Tentacle Strike, their aura is revealed to you for 10 seconds.

Depleted Ink Ribbon

  • When a Zombie is currently chasing a Survivor, that Survivor's aura is revealed to you. This effect lingers for the next 3 seconds.

Broken Recovery Coin

  • Upon reaching Mutation III, Tentacle Strike is given the ability to damage Survivors without the need to Contaminate them.

Shattered S.T.A.R.S. Badge

  • Tentacle Strike is given the ability to attack multiple Survivors at the same time, as well as both injure a Survivor and break any obstacle in Nemesis' way.

Iridescent Umbrella Badge

  • After reaching Mutation III, The Nemesis is granted a new activatable ability that increases its movement speed by 35% for the duration of 60 seconds.
  • While the ability is active, Tentacle Strike cannot be used and Zombies are destroyed.
  • After the ability ends, The Nemesis reverts back to Mutation I.
  • Removes all other benefits gained from reaching higher levels of Mutation. This effect trumps other add-ons that give different effects.

This is what a list of add-ons should look like. Add-ons that give their own unique effects and benefits different from each other while progressively getting more powerful thanks to their rarity.

To those that will be concerned about the last one, here's my reasoning: It has significant downsides that balance out the benefits earned with the new ability and the ability is temporary. It also fits the theme of Nemesis, who is supposed to be an extremely fast and daunting pursuer. And to those that think this can't happen, remember that The Shape has Tombstones.

Comments

  • Great Ideas. But not every Addon needs a Rework. Some are already completely fine and unique, like the Depleted Ink Ribbon and the Serotonin Injector (That one could last longer). These allow very different Playstyles and the Effect's are good. And the others? And some Addons Effect are also fine. Nemesis just needs different Effects. Some Addons are almost exact Copies.

  • I feel like most add-ons are fine, yet the only addons that might need to be changed are the iri addons, because they are crap and don't actually fit him. They are PH iri addons in a nutshell.

Most of his add-ons currently are slight modifications to already pre-existing lesser add-ons. All of the ones from uncommon upward need some sort of change if they aren't unique enough to justify staying the same.

Plus, I want Nemesis' add-ons to stray away from being dependent on factors outside of Nemesis' own control.
