in-game server selection to make matchmaking smoother

As I'm still fairly new to DBD, maybe this was a topic brought up long ago, but I think this would be so hopeful for those like me who get placed on random servers instead of their own.

I live in central US so I get placed on random servers, even outside America. I've recently tried to see what my ping would look like if I tried VPNing my own servers and quite frankly my ping went from 80-100ms to 30-50 on the Virginia server.

Having the option to select your region would be a really good QoL addition. I've tried everything like port forwarding, changing steam settings, etc and my ping is just horrid unless I VPN the server I'm closest to.

    This would be really nice. Despite being on the east coast sometimes I'm shunted to south America.
