Directional audio issue

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced directional audio issues in the game?

I seem to have been getting this issue since around the start of last year. I used to be able to hear which direction a killer was coming from but since a major patch around Feb/March in 2022 I have no idea where a killer is coming from until they're right on top of me. Is this an actual glitch or is it intended by the devs? It's a really frustrating thing because my ability to evade the killer drops significantly from not being able to determine where they're coming from until it's too late.
