Players should be able to see their mmr and the mmr of their teammates

Everybody knows that the mmr prioritize speed over quality but a lot of players prefers to be 2 minutes more in the lobby than in a 10 minutes game with an awful team,so please show us our mmr so we can dodge the bad lobbys

  • I've struggled to understand the devs' thought process with SBMM since they implemented it. They've been really...goofy about it the whole time. I'd like to see MMR, but it wouldn't really address core issues with the system.

You don't see people diving for loose balls or going all out in a friendly pickup game of basketball. There's no reason to with nothing on the line. People who just want to play for fun aren't going to enjoy playing with people going all out, and good players are going to join a rec league. They're rarely going to want to play with each other.

SBMM forces everyone into the same game regardless of their desired playstyle, and there's no way around it. You might randomly get a good match, but more often than not someone is out if place on either side.

The common refrain from the devs is that they aren't convinced the playerbase could support two queues. People also typically don't order things that aren't on a menu at a restaurant. It's a weird stance to me when the game is currently set up to drive away the players those changes would otherwise attract. You aren't going to have a ton of competitive minded solo queue survivors left at this point because you've driven them all away. But you could probably bring some back and even grow that side of the game with a ranked queue.

  • Players absolutely should not be able to see the rank of other players. People already dodge lobbies for the rank they CAN see, and we know that rank doesn't mean anything.
