PTB Complaints

Since BHVR asked for feedback for their PTB/upcoming changes i thought i would bring it right to where they can read it. No i am not looking for discussion or discourse. You may comment it but there is no guarantee i will read it~

Light-killer Interactions: Mostly great. Mixed about The Artist due to her birds feeling a bit over-whelming at times but not end of world. Nurse should always be allowed to be bullied because its a nurse.

Hillbilly: What the absolute camping bubba are you doing? You've already nerfed him and made a huge about of people not play him. He gets absolutely ruined at high mmr and yet he is one of the most fun to go against! Leave poor billy alone more than enough Billy mains can explain why.

Pain Res: Surprisingly i think this is way too much. I understand pain res is a problem for camping and constant easy hooks and hook trades. But only getting 4 uses of pain res is insane. Pop can reduce a similar amount on a high progressed gen and you can get it for as many hooks as you can get. Maybe you can get a reduction on damage % on subsequent hooks but only 4 damage opportunities is nothing.

Boon Circle of healing: This perk is definitely incredibly over-powered and has needed a nerf since it came out. I think calling something "Boon: Circle of healing" and not being allowed to heal in it is a bit stupid. I have seen and heard many suggestions such as killers having natural shattered hope. Or once a boon is stomped out it cant be re-lit at that specific totem (but the totem stays). Or that its a token system/limited number of heals. ETC.

Dead hard: While i also understand the frustration of feeling like you're about to hit someone and having it taken away because dead-hard was used, or being unable to get the down because they can dead-hard at a pallet. But the requirements to use it just ONCE (ignoring if the killer has less then great ping or they whiff) and have it gone is insane. No other exhaustion perks have any requirements like this, yet. It feels like its going to be a slippery slope down the exhaustion nerf rabbit hole. Sprint burst will require a generation to be done. Lithe you must flash-light save. Balanced you need to cleanse a hex totem. We want the game to be around chase and the fun of the chase in the end, no? Considering the biggest gripe is dead-harding at pallets/windows and getting away to a safe spot, why not just make it so dead-hard has a doctor like effect after used successfully and you cannot vault/drop a pallet for a second or some other # amount.

Call of Brine: While the COB/OC combination is really bloody annoying, i feel like reducing the damage to 125% makes it a lot less worthwhile to kick things. I'm not 100% against this but i do feel like it can still ideally be something viable and 125% might be a bit too low for that.

General Healing: Yikes. 24 seconds is a bit insane. Imagine if a killer is camping and you need to double safe but you're both injured. Assuming there is no sloppy (ha) or any other slower healing speed debuff, you have 12 seconds to get to the unhook and save. Why cant you just try slightly higher numbers but less aggressive changes? Lets try 20 seconds as a nice middle ground. And nearly 48 seconds to recover? Why even hook people.

Medkit changes: Medkits are a very strong tool that have needed to be fixed forever but you guys barely touched the syringe and styptic. All these other add-ons are going to be useless. Everyone is just going to use them for self-healing so all these changes are going to mean absolutely nothing.

I personally think a lot of these changes are terrible and while ive seen some positives most people ive heard from are unhappy. I think you need to take a huge step back and re-consider a lot of the numbers and decisions. There are so many intelligent and creative people who can offer feedback and fantastic suggestions that arent revolved around just basic statistics that you guys seem to base off of everything.
