Skull Merchant Rework Concept

Power: Eyes in the Sky
Inspired by the dark manga created by her father, The Skull Merchant relentlessly hunts her prey using the latest in surveillance technology.
The Skull Merchant starts the Trial with 3* Drones that roam around the Trial Grounds.
SPECIAL ENEMY: Drones
Scouting Mode:
- Laser Cone reach: 10 metres
- This refers to the reach of one laser beam from the centre of the Drone, allowing it to cover the same radius as the Detection Zone.
- A single hit of a laser beam will immediately transition the Drone into Active Mode.
- Laser Cone half-height: 2.5 metres
- This refers to how far up or down the Z-axis the Drone is able to detect Survivors at if they are within the Laser's reach.
- Laser Cone Pitch half-angle: 15 °
- This is used to determine the vertical width of the Laser Cone of a Drone in Scouting Mode by defining how far up or down the cone reaches from an imagined centre line.
- Sphere Trace radius: 3 centimeters
- Laser Cone Yaw half-angle: 1 °
- This is used to determine the horizontal width of the Laser Cone of a Drone in Scouting Mode by defining how far to the left and right the cone reaches from an imagined centre line.
- This refers to through how small a hole the Laser can still detect a Survivor through.
- Laser Cone Rotation rate: 50 °/s
- Drone movement speed: 1.0 m/s *
Active Mode:
The Drone automatically enters Active Mode after detecting a survivor.
In Active Mode, the Drone creates a circular Detection Zone around it and The Skull Merchant receives a notification on the Radar.
Players inside the Detection Zone experience the following effect:
- Survivors: gain Lock On progress. A successfully Lock On will install Claw Trap on the locked survivor.
- The Skull Merchant: receives the Undetectable Status Effect, which lingers for 2 seconds after leaving the Detection Zone.
If no Survivor is detected within the Detection Zone the Drone switches to Scouting Mode.
SPECIAL EFFECT: LOCK ON
While a Survivor is within the Active Detection Zone of a Drone, the Lock On effect builds over 10 seconds*, after which a Survivor is fully Locked On and experiences the following effects:
- Triggers Killer Instinct while inside the Detection Zone.
- Receives a Claw Trap on the shoulder.
SPECIAL INTERACTION: INSPECT RADAR
Press and hold the Active Ability button to bring up a Radar.
While inspecting the Radar, Survivors who are within the Detection Zone of a Drone or those who carry an active Claw Trap will have their position revealed to you as a dot on the Radar.
SPECIAL INTERACTION: ACTIVATE DRONE
While aiming at a Drone, press Attack button while it is in Scouting Mode to force it into Active Mode.
- Cool-down duration: 10 seconds*. This applies solely to manually activating a Drone.
SPECIAL INTERACTION: HACK DRONE / CLAW TRAP
When approaching a Drone, a Survivor can attempt to hack the Drone and disable it.
Hacking a Drone prompts a unique Quick Time Event for the Survivor:
- A successful Hack disables the Drone for 30 seconds before it returns to Scouting Mode.
- A failed Hack causes the Drone to enter Active Mode and causes the Survivor to be immediately Locked On and Exposed.
A Claw Trap that has run out of its battery charge can be also Hacked, prompting the same Quick Time Event for the Survivor:
- A successful Hack removes the Claw Trap.
- A failed Hack causes the Claw Trap to recharge its battery by +25 %.
SPECIAL TRAP: CLAW TRAP
A Claw Trap continuously broadcasts the Survivor's position to the Radar of The Skull Merchant for 45 seconds, after which its battery dies.
If a Survivor comes within range of a Drone, the battery of the Claw Trap is instantly recharged and the Drone will immediately enter Active Mode.
ADDONS ( only the ones i believe needs rework to accommodate the Power changes above )
- Stereo Remote Mic: Increases the speed of the pointer during the Hack of a Drone by +10 %.
- Randomized Strobes : Survivors entering the Area of Effect of a Active Drone suffer from a -5 % Hindered Status Effect for 3 seconds.
Distance threshold between the drones, spawn locations and anything related to the IA, is up to BHVR. I have no knowledge on the innerworkings of that to suggest any changes.

Comments
Making them roaming drones instead of static will do SO much to eliminate this forsaken 3 gen strat
