Underwhelming GenMat Event

I think the majority of people that didn't play the Meet Your Maker beta are going to be very confused about the GenMat appearing in Dead By Daylight. I was hoping for there to be more advertising and better communication in regards to a game I fell in love with during beta. Meet Your Maker is such a fun game and I hope lack of advertising doesn't kill it off. Being that the release is just a few weeks ahead, maybe there is more to expect?

    They probably pushed the bugfix out ASAP because of Dredge, but accidentally pushed the event with it. If so, someone's getting their ears chewed out for it.

    They already teased it upon release, so I think it was intentional
