Suggestions to Improve Player Experience

I believe that both survivors and killer should earn perks as gens are completed. There are generic perks that nobody runs because they're not worth a perk slot. I thinking that survivors could unlock Kindred and perks of the like as gens are completed. Likewise, killers would unlock perks like Spies from the Shadows. This would allow greater competition when it gets down to the last gens and would put more perks into the play that hardly ever get used.

In addition to earnable perks throughout the match, there should be passive effects to deter unpopular gameplay strategies. BHVR has tried to address 'tunneling' by giving survivors an unhook buff that give Endurance and Haste -- this isn't enough. With perks like Decisive Strike still nerfed, we need these passive effects to deter unsportsmanlike killer tactics. I would suggest giving survivors a 10% buff to gen speed for 60s if a survivor is hooked more than once in a row. This would encourage killers to employ more thoughtful strategies and force them to rotate the map or suffer the consequences. Nobody likes getting face-camped or even proxy-camped for the killer to get an easy down.

Survivors also need more control perks. Perks like Repressed Alliance are underwhelming and underused because the killer still has a plethora of options to counter-play. I'm thinking a good idea for a survivor perk is one that can disable the killer's ability for a limited duration within an AoE. This would shut down scummy tactics like face-camping with Leatherface and of course the perk would have to be earned in the game and only able to be employed once per game -- otherwise it would not be balanced.

I also think the Boon archetype could be expanded upon. Some boons are way more impactful than others, namely Circle of Healing. I would like to see boons that leave behind the idea of an AoE, creating a lobby-wide effect that the killer would be inclined to deal with. Survivors do not have enough tools to move the killer around. Perks like Red Herring are fun to use because if you can move the killer you get value and buy your team time. However, Red Herring isn't exactly effective once the killer knows about it and no longer serves it's function. A boon that essentially hexes the killer would require more attention would be a good way to buy time for your team to get gen progress on some closely grouped gens.
