Question about Nightmare edition

Trying to get stranger things dlc for a friend on ps5. Saw on Reddit that if you buy the nightmare edition, you can put in a support ticket to have the stranger things dlc upgraded to the ps5 version of the game. Is that still a thing? How long would it take? Also, it wouldn't remove any progress on the ps5 version right?

    This is no longer a thing, this was something done for a period of time shortly after the content was removed. However, we are no longer offering this service as of 31st August 2022.

    While browsing around to find a copy of the nightmare edition, reviews from within a few weeks ago say it works- is the capability to add it from ps4 to ps5 via support ticket what is no longer available?

    yeah the Edition will still work on PS4 but you cannot upgrade to PS5 without the support ticket, the edition itself is purely a PS4 edition.
