So why do survivors know who the killer's obsession is?
As you will know, there are perks in the game that work off of attacking, or avoiding the obsession. Other perks also change the obsession. I think that revealing who the obsession is can lead to killer perks being spoiled, like Nemesis and Rancor. As well as perks like STBFL causing the obsession to take hits and remove killer tokens on purpose
To me, it doesn't make any sense as to why the survivors would know the killer's thoughts on who they are obsessed with is. I am also unable to find any sort of lore reason as to how they, or the other survivors would know. If a survivor brings in the perk object of obsession, it is only fair that it is revealed to them that they are the obsession, as this is obviously how the perk functions
