Wow Thanks for the Nurse Nerf Bhvr. She went from S++ to S+

Really thanks for this insane nerf guys. You did a pretty good job. You nerfed the most broken killer that she can't use exposed perks anymore. Now she is reeeeeeaaaaallllyyyy balanced :) Let's just forget the part that she still ignores the game mechanics and that someone who plays her for longer then 30 minutes can still win most games undeserved and that she got New broken addons now :D

It's the definition of the DbD YOU'd like, with all same M1 killers you could loop classical way.

But sorry, there is another different patern's killer you have to deal with.

    Can you ?

    the one that ignores DBD?.

then the other comment i just dont discuss with dumbo arguments, wait, was that an argument?... aura reading perks on nurse are dumb, and some nurse maisn with thousand of hours suggested that change aswell... but im not gonna discuss this with someone so biased.

Good luck finding survivors without aura reading with the new Nurse Music. You can not hear breathing, foot steps, or sounds of pains on the loudest survivors now. Audio is basically useless now on Nurse. You lose one mindgame or you get aim dressing one time, and bye Felicia, that survivors never to be seen again.

Nerfing aura perks would have some footing but what they did to Nurses ability to actually hear sounds is ######### disgusting. This is not how you balance killer. With that said, aura perks in the current meta do not need nerfs, especially if you are running a full aura build, and have zero slowdown, thats high risk high reward, and completely negated by Distortion. When I run full aura Huntress, 1 in 10 games will have a full team running Distortion (usually at least one player has it almost every match), and it requires sweat because now I have no useable perks and one of my addons is wasted.

It's pretty smart to keep only what suits you, but you have to consider all the elements.

The more aura perks a killer uses, the less control he has over the generators.

I sometimes play full aura reading perks on my nurse, and I can assure you that the repair speed is not the same.

So obviously, against a completely disorganized team, it's not too bad; some teams are so lost that even without perks, it would be possible to get very good results. But against an organized and fast team, it changes a lot.

Also, aura perks are not 100% wins, given the number of survivors playing with Distortion or Boon: Shadow Step.

Especially since not all aura perks are equally dangerous.

At the end of the day, this. They've boiled DBD down to its absolute, most refined essence.

    And it is looping.

    Looping and nothing else.

Which is very stupid when you think about it. I'm at the point where I think the 4.4 killer days need to be ended. 4.6 isn't even enough to stop hold W. Mobility killers rule.

From the moment someone asks for a character to be nerfed because the reason is that he/she doesn't like to play against, or can't get good results against (when it is nevertheless possible), it is an opinion, the consequence of a feeling, and not a concrete fact / reality.

To say that if a mechanic is not fun, it is because it is badly designed, is a fallacious argument, because it is a huge shortcut.

A player will not be able to be 100% ecstatic about every element of the game.

Some players don't like Legion, some don't like the Clown, some don't like this or that perk, some don't like this or that addon, some don't like getting hooked in less than 10s, some don't like it, etc.

    But these are just opinions.

A fact will always prevail over an opinion.

There will always be players who don't like the nurse; that's not new. It is a unique killer, the only one with this difficulty and displacement. And the only one that requires its opponents to try harder, and be more coordinated.

Justify the previous nerves? Some are understandable, some are not.

Taking away the ability to have 5 blinks with 0 cooldown is completely understandable.

Making it so she can't use NOED or Starstruck anymore, I also completely understand.

Removing her recharge and range addons was not necessary.

    Depends on the nerf.

Just because a nerf is put in place doesn't necessarily mean it was necessary and/or justified.

However, for example, even though I don't agree with removing her range and recharge addons, I figure it will make her a little less oppressive.

It will also help to see which players, on the other hand, don't know how to make any effort, and would rather continue to complain just because "I don't like the nurse, I don't want to make any effort."

So what exactly is the difference between the removal of omegablink Nurse and demanding an actual rework of Nurse?

Here are some facts: Nurse is undisputedly the strongest Killer in the game, has had a near-total stranglehold on the high-level Killer meta for, what? 6 years? And nothing short of a rework or some extremely harsh nerfs is ever going to change that. That'd be more than enough justification for most games to go through with some changes.

Nurse is what League of Legends players like to call a "balance nightmare". A character whose kit is so fundamentally powerful, whose playstyle is so all-or-nothing, that no amount of number changes will ever put them in a satisfactory position. They will forever fluctuate between oppressively powerful and useless. Though unlike other gaming companies, BHVR has been EXTREMELY hesitant to bite the bullet on any meaningful changes, so we've never seen the latter on Nurse.
