Even BHVR's FOMO Implementation Is Lazy

If they intend to make time limited cosmetics a regular thing, so regular swaths of the old cosmetics will be made time limited, why haven't they added an in-game timer on those cosmetics? Why do you have to check the News section to know which items will arbitrarily go away?

My estimation: DBD has stopped drawing in enough new players to stay as profitable as the execs want (or maybe it's just not growing), so they forced in time-limited cosmetics to try and reverse this (the community survey question obviously was never going to stop them), but they didn't give the devs enough time to implement it properly. What can you expect from a team that will end up leaving Twins unplayable for over a month?

  • Contrary to what a lot believe these days, every time you fear you are missing out on something does not mean its a FOMO strategy.

    • plus gotta say the way you added, 'Also THE TWINS' at the end there. Classic.

It's just something they pick up partnering with PUBG.Pubg has been doing this ever since there first battlepass.

They've only brought back or gave extra time on an event once.
